BIRR Hilo Bay 5k and 10k BIRR Hilo Bay 10K

Join us on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. Race will start at 7:30 am at Reeds Bay on Banyan Drive in Hilo and finish back at the same place.

All runners/walkers will head North on Banyan Drive, turn towards Coconut Island and run the oceanside of Lili'uokalani Park, through Bayfront Park towards the "yellow gate", turn around and come back the same way. Those running the 5K will end where we started, those running the 10K will continue onto Kalanianaole Street to the “turn around” sign and head back the finish line.

Tee-shirts and medals for all finishers. Awards for overall finishers and age group finishers. Aid stations and snacks provided.

Online registration closes on September 6th at 5 pm. Big Island Road Runners (BIRR) members receive a $5.00 discount at registration. Student Discount pricing available:)

Packet pickup and late registration will be at Reeds Bay on September 6th, 2023 between 3 and 5:30 pm. There will be registration and packet pick-up on race day up until 7:10 am.
