About this race
The Right Path for Washington County and the Ely Chapman Foundation have teamed up to sponsor their annual Wellness 5K Run/Walk in Marietta on Saturday, September 7th, 2024! This event will offer individuals and families the opportunity to participate in a healthy and fun activity while at the same time supporting two of our community's long-standing nonprofit organizations. The race will start and end at East Muskingum Park on Front Street. Registration and packet pick up will be available at the gazebo from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM on race day. Pre-register by August 21st to ensure your free t-shirt!
We will have medals for the top three male runners, female runners, male walkers, and female walkers, custom made by the Belpre High School STEM Lab! Age group winners will receive ribbons.
After the race, be sure to check out our sponsors in downtown Marietta and enjoy the Sternwheeler Festival!
The mission of the Right Path is to provide healthy living and decision-making skills for area youth through school-based and community programs, including sharing information about drug and alcohol awareness, as well as hosting special events. The mission of the Ely Chapman Education Foundation is to provide inclusive, academic, health and wellness, social, and cultural experiences to enrich young people in our communities.
