The **Share the Harvest 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk** is back in Charlotte, NC on September 7th, 2024. This event, now in its third year, is more than just a race; it's a community initiative focused on supporting local food banks and contributing to the fight against hunger. Participants can expect a family-friendly atmosphere with a focus on participation for all levels, whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for a personal best or a walker enjoying the scenic route. Typically held in a predominantly flat, paved urban setting within the 28212 zip code, the Share the Harvest 5K is designed for accessibility and speed. Runners and walkers will navigate familiar city streets, making it ideal for those looking for a quick and enjoyable race. While specific route details may vary year to year, the course is generally well-supported with aid stations and clear markings. The notable feature of this event is its charitable mission, with proceeds directly benefiting organizations that "share the harvest" by providing food to those in need.
