Cancer Champions Run/Walk 10K Run or Walk

Please join us for the first annual Cancer Champions Run/Walk! Choose between 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, or Virtual Participation options.

At Cancer Champions, we are proud to support those impacted by cancer through personalized fitness, nutrition, and mindset guidance. No matter where somebody is on their cancer journey, whether currently undergoing treatment, post-treatment, or if they are a care partner for somebody battling cancer, we will be there. Research has proven time and again that exercise, nutrition, and positive mindset can help improve quality of life for those impacted by cancer. 

Proceeds from the Cancer Champions Run/Walk go to uplifting our current members as well as providing our comprehensive resources to new members seeking our support every single day.

Early Bird Registration will be open May 1 - June 30 (the lowest registration price available!)

Event Day:

Saturday, September 14, 2024

Packet pickup will be in-person only on the morning of the event, starting at 7:30 AM (9/14/2024)

1 Mile, 5K, 10K, Virtual

Event Details:

Your entry to the inaugural Cancer Champions Run/Walk includes the following:

• Event t-shirt - 100% cotton - Men's/Women's/Youth sizing (option to opt-out and save $5)
• Eligibility for overall and age group awards
• Commemorative race bib and chip timing
• Post-race snacks and refreshments
• Option to create a team or individual fundraiser and chance to win amazing prizes!

All participants will be timed using disposable chip timing. Awards will be presented as follows:

• 5K and 10K: The top three finishers by gender (based on gun time) will be recognized with an award. In addition, the top three finishers by gender will be recognized with a prize in the following age divisions: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+. Age group placement will be determined by net time. 
• One Mile: The top three finishers by gender (based on gun time) will be recognized with an overall award. There are no age group rankings for the one mile event.

• 8:30 a.m. - 10K
• 8:40 a.m. - 5K
• 8:50 a.m. - One Mile

Virtual Participants: We are excited to welcome everyone that cannot attend in-person, but would like to participate in the inaugural Cancer Champions Run/Walk! You can sign up as a Virtual Participant and run, walk, or roll your way to the virtual finish line any time before or on September 14th. An event T-shirt is included in your registration, unless you would prefer to opt out of receiving it. If you do want the shirt, it will be mailed to you at no additional cost.
