It’s time to get ready for the 5th annual Autumn & Ales, which will be held on September 14th, 2024.

This year all proceeds will be donated to three great organizations. Travis Mills Foundation, Project GRACE & Holy Cross School.

We will be doing the same great path this year and you can choose between the 5k, 10k or ½ Marathon - all leading back to some great ales to celebrate!

This year we are launching 3 new parts to our race.

  1. We now support team registration, so get your friends, family, or co-workers and sign up together!
  2. You can now set up a fundraising page! This is great because all proceeds are going directly towards our 3 selected organizations. When you create a fundraising page, you can invite others to support your run by donating to the cause.
  3. We will have some great swag this year to purchase - again with all proceeds going to the 3 causes. The first 200 runners will receive a t-shirt as part of their registration, but others are able to purchase from our store. All items will be picked up on registration day, the day before the race at MEND Health in Scarborough.

So join us and run along the marsh, celebrate with ales & raise money for these great non-profits!

AI Overview

The Autumn & Ales 1/2, 10K & 5K, taking place on September 14, 2024, in Scarborough, ME, is a popular fall running event that has established itself as a favorite for its festive atmosphere and scenic route. While specific historical details are not provided, the inclusion of multiple distances (half marathon, 10K, and 5K) suggests a well-rounded event catering to a range of runner abilities and preferences. Participants can anticipate a well-organized race with the "Ales" in its title hinting at potential post-race festivities or local brewery partnerships, adding a unique, enjoyable dimension beyond the run itself. The typical terrain for races in the Scarborough, ME area often involves a mix of paved roads and potentially some smoother, well-maintained trails, offering a pleasant running experience. Given the September date, participants should generally expect crisp autumn air and potentially vibrant fall foliage, though weather can be variable in New England. The "Event Type: 6" likely signifies a road race, but it's advisable for runners to check the specific course details closer to the event date. The presence of a half marathon alongside shorter distances makes this a great opportunity for individuals or groups with diverse running goals to participate in a single, celebratory event.
