• In-and-back routes with 2.5k downhill finish for both 5k and 10k.

• Gun start at 6:30 A.M. (10k) and 6:45 A.M. (5k) after SPECIAL 9-11 TRIBUTE and participants picking up hand flags who wish to run honoring those who perished in 2001.   

• Professionally timed by On Your Left Fitness and Timing - custom chipped-bibs.

• First - Third Place Awards for fastest Male and Female Participants presented as soon as results are finalized. 

• General Raffle Winners posted before first participants cross the finish-line.

• 10 Age Category Male and Female Winners, Ambassador Awards refunding Race Fee and Comping next Event, 10k $50 Red White and Blue Raffle, and TOGETHER IS BETTER - Team $100 Mega Raffle, presented near 8:30 A.M.

COURSE:  Both races start at a cool 4300' elevation, on pavement with adjacent grass.  The 5k gains 230' in elevation before participants execute a large sweeping mid-point turnaround to be rewarded with a fast downhill finish!  10k enthusiasts loop the elevation gain twice as they switch multiple times between pavement and trail before making the last turn for the 1-mile downhill finish framed with awesome valley views.  Manned water and aide stations will be provided for your comfort and safety.

WELCOME:  Ages 3 to 93!  Strollers, sport chairs, hand-cycles, and wheelchairs are allowed for the 5k.  Animals, bikes, skate boards, roller blades or other wheeled devises are not permitted. Although traffic is restricted to one lane with a pilot car, headphones are discouraged for runner safety.
