Murray Lender 5K Bagel Run 2 Mile Family Fitness Walk/Run

We, at the JCC of Greater New Haven, are excited to announce the 13th Murray Lender 5K Bagel Run, will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023. The JCC is offering babysitting services during all races.
 
5K USA Track & Field Certified 5K course winding through the beautiful residential neighborhoods of Woodbridge.

Starting line: 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge - JCC Campus near JCC Day Camps' entrance. 

Want to take part in the day's festivities, but don't want to commit to a 5K?
 
Try our two-mile Family Fitness Walk or come early for the Kids Costume Race. Groups are encouraged to participate in all three events. Free race event t-shirts are provided to all pre-registered participants of both the 5K and Family Fit Walk who register before September 1, 2022. Save 20% off of race day registration fees by registering before August 18, 2023.

7:30 AM: Registration Opens
8:45 AM: FREE Kids Costume Race
9:30 AM: 5K Race on USATF Certified Course 
9:30 AM: 2 Mile Family Fitness Walk/Run
10:30 AM: Bagel Breakfast and awards

Our Post-Race Block Party will feature:

• DJ Entertainment provided by Liverpool Productions
• Sidewalk sale by Woodbridge Running Company
• Prizes for top three men and women overall and in each age group
• Bagel medals for all participants
• Bagels and cream cheese from Katz's Deli
• Delicious kosher and non-kosher goodies
• Costumes encouraged
• Join PJ Library for a Story Walk
• Kids bounce house
• Dogs allowed!
