Radford University Tartan 5k, A Twilight Run 5k Run

Welcome to the inaugural year of the Tartan 5K twilight run, a celebration of health, happiness, and the exhilarating experiences that takes you on a scenic run through the Greenway at Tinker Creek! This race is sponsored by Radford University in Roanoke. As the Health Science Campus, this event aims to provide support in celebrating our healthcare professionals, both current and future.

Get ready to lace up your running shoes and embrace the spirit of the Tartan as you dash through the greenway in this unique and lively event. Whether you choose to run in a kilt, or even in scrubs to honor the healthcare community, every step you take will contribute to a healthier, happier you, as well as a stronger community bond. After the race, stick around for a post-run celebration filled with music, food, and camaraderie.

Pre-race party starts at 5:30pm! Come get hyped up for the race with our DJ and get covered in glow paint! It will be a night you'll love to look back on with pictures in our black light photo booth! 

*This race is chip-timed on a certified course.
