AI Overview

The KC Blind All-Stars Foundation's 2024 Virtual 1 Mile Walk offers a flexible way to support a worthy cause from wherever you are on September 28th, 2024. While this is a virtual event, the spirit of the race stems from the in-person 5K and 1 Mile Walk typically held in Kansas City, KS. Participants in past events have enjoyed a community-focused experience with an accessible route designed for all abilities. This year's virtual format allows participants to complete their 1-mile walk on their own schedule and chosen location. As a virtual event, participants can expect a straightforward experience focused on participation and fundraising for the KC Blind All-Stars Foundation. You'll receive your race bib virtually and can complete your 1-mile walk anytime on or before the designated date. While there's no specific terrain or condition to prepare for, past in-person events often featured paved, flat courses suitable for walkers of all ages and mobility levels. The notable feature of this event is its adaptability, enabling broad participation while still contributing to the foundation's mission.
