3rd Annual Montco Heroes 5K, Brews & Barbeque Festival 5K Run ONLY

This event will raise funds for the Montgomery County Hero Fund. Please join us for our 3rd Annual 5K, Brews & BBQ.  The Mission of the Montgomery County Hero Fund is to immediately guarantee that the acts of a Hero will never be forgotten and that we will always rise to the challenge of making sure sacrifice in the line of duty will never be in vain and that Law Enforcement Officers, Military Personnel, Firefighters, Paramedics and/or First Responders and their loved ones will be protected and cared for in the event of tragedy. 

Start your day with a 5k run at 8:30 am and stay for the day! Festivities include a  Jeep Invasion, Live Music, BBQ competition, Beer and food all beginning at 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. 

Awards:                

5K Run/Walk - Top Male and Female overall, top 2 in each age group, under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
BBQ Competition – Prize trophy stays with the winning team (Department)

Entry:                    
5K Run/ 1 Mile Walk ONLY $35. run start time 11:00 a.m. Registration begins at 9:30 am.  Walk start time 11:05 a.m.
BBQ/Beer Festival ONLY $40. Festival begins at 12:30 p.m. (after run portion of the event)
5K plus BBQ/Beer Festival $70.  Enjoy all the festivities for the day!

Amenities:          
5k Run/Walk -  t shirt, refreshments, water stations, prizes. One-mile fun walk.
BBQ & Beer Festival – includes music, event mug, draft beer and BBQ competition food tasting. Food trucks will be available for food purchase. BBQ & Beer festival begins immediately following the 5K Run.
