River’s Edge Trail Half Marathon Half Marathon-Run

Enjoy the beautiful Iowa River Greenbelt with this 13.1 mile paved loop beginning in Eldora, taking you through Pine Lake State Park, Steamboat Rock, and coming back on the River’s Edge Trail. We will be donating the proceeds from the run to the continued progress on the River’s Edge Trail.

Be greeted by our small town charm along the route and at the start and finish line. Your fans will have numerous opportunities to cheer you on along the way, while you will be able to enjoy some beautiful views as well. Enjoy post race refreshments and a warm breakfast served fresh after you finish in Memorial Park.

This year we will be formally offering the option to walk the course as well.* For those who choose to exclusively walk the half marathon course, you will begin at 7 am. All runners and run/walkers will begin at 8 am.

(*All pre-registered finishers will receive finisher medals. Top award winners will only be awarded to overall top finishers, not separated by runners and walkers.)
