Nic's Race 5k, Kids 2k, & Duathlon Nic's Race 5k Timed Run - In Person

This is a fun event for kids, families & competitive athletes. You are welcome to participate in-person or virtually in the 5k, 2k & duathlon at Kincaid Park in Anchorage, Alaska. We also have a virtual 5k option where you can complete the 5k from where ever you are in the World! In-person start times are listed below, on Sunday, September 24th, 2023 at Kincaid Park. The start/finish line will be at the top of the Coastal Trail near the roundabout at the end of Kincaid Park, behind the chalet. The transition area for duathletes will be the parking spots next to the multi-use trail, near the top of the Coastal Trail. 

Duathlon - We will have 3 races, the Kids ages 4-8, Kids ages 9-12, and Kids 13 through Adults race. 

9:30am - Duathlon - Ages 13 through Adults - 1.5mile run, 10mile bike, 1.5mile run

11:00am - Duathlon - Ages 4-8yrs old - .35mile run, 2.5mile bike, .35mile run 

11:30am - Duathlon - Ages 9-12yrs old - .7mile run, 5mile bike, .7mile run 

12pm - 5k Timed & Untimed run - This a trail run on a mixture of trails around the Mize Loop area, starting/ending near the Kincaid turf soccer field. 

1pm - Kids 2k Fun Run - This is an untimed trail run on a mixture of trails and grass surface, starting/ending near the Kincaid turf soccer field. 

All race proceeds will go into a fund to support the NicStrong Foundation, which will provide financial support to youth sports needing financial support to attend races, camps, traveling to out of state events and equipment expenses.
