Harvest 5K Virtual Harvest 5K Run/Walk

Come join us in Allentown, Pennsylvania's beautiful Cedar Beach Park for a dog-friendly 5K walk or run. It is a mostly packed and paved course through the Rose Garden. Water stations will be available at every mile, and expect cheering squads at every crossroads. Can't join us in Allentown? No problem: join us virtually from anywhere in the world.

Dog walk/run Rules

Register for the 5K then bring your pooch and enjoy 3.1 miles of running or walking. 

1. Dogs must be friendly to people and other dogs.
2. No retractable leashes. This is dangerous as it can trip other participants.
3. Bring poop bags. You are responsible for cleaning up after your fur baby.
4. Leashes must be 6 feet long or less.
5. Bring water and treats for your dog.
6. Position yourself correctly at the start area. If you intend to run fast, then move to the front of the pack.
7. Pet parent and dog will share 1 race bib.
8. Have fun.

Beneficiary
All proceeds will benefit the students of the Central Elementary School of Allentown PA on 9th Street and Turner.  Central Elementary is one of 15 elementary schools located in the city of Allentown. Most of its students are very poor with 89% of families classified as Low Income, and everyone receives Free/Reduced Lunch. It serves a community with a poverty rate of 38.64% of the City's population. (2013 Census). 

We aim to raise $5,000 to help provide for students gym equipment and uniforms.
