About this race
Join us for our fifth annual Mayor's Challenge with all proceeds to benefit the RallyCap Sports. The race route meanders through one of the hidden gems of Middletown - Poricy Park! The trail consists of wide grass paths, as well as some sections of single track. Poricy Park is not flat - beware of the hills! This is a trail/cross-country course - race surfaces consist of grass, gravel and wooden platforms - trails are not paved.
5K Fitness Walk: 8:45am
1mi Fun Run: 9:00am
5K Race: 9:30am
Children and young adults with special needs are welcome to participate, please note: one guardian is required to be present on event day. For those in runner chairs or wheelchairs - this course is not on paved roads and sometimes sees flat grass, gravel and wooden bridges that we require two steps up and two steps down. Before registering for this event, we encourage you to visit our park to determine if this course is doable for you.
