What to expect

Written from race data

The Holistic Hustle Kids Fun Run/5k is a vibrant event designed for young runners aged 13 and under, taking place on November 2, 2024, in the picturesque town of Kennebunkport, ME. While specific historical data is limited, this event emphasizes a holistic approach to fitness and community engagement, likely building upon previous iterations to foster a love for running in a fun, accessible environment. Participants can expect a supportive atmosphere geared towards enjoyment rather than intense competition, with opportunities for both a shorter fun run and a slightly longer 5k course, catering to different age groups and abilities within the under-13 bracket. The terrain in Kennebunkport is typically scenic, often featuring a blend of paved roads and potentially some mild, well-maintained trails, offering a pleasant running experience. Participants should anticipate the early November weather in Maine, which can be crisp and cool, so appropriate layering is advisable. While no specific notable features are detailed, the "Holistic Hustle" moniker suggests an emphasis on overall well-being, possibly incorporating elements beyond just the race itself, such as educational components about healthy living or family-friendly activities surrounding the event, making it a memorable experience for young athletes and their families.
