About this race
13th Annual RUN for your LUNGS! Jackie's Run for Life @ Lake Blackshear Resort in Cordele GA! This is a Run & See GA Grand Prix Series Event, and raises awareness for the deadliest cancer of all cancers, Lung Cancer. We are our own 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to helping folks in our area struggling with the disease. Each participant receives a GREAT long sleeve T-shirt, goody bag, lunch & beverages (beer for 21 & up!!) after the run!!! Thursday Nov 2rd Packet Pick up will be at Austins Fire Grill on Old Dawson Road in Albany from 4-6 PM, Friday Nov 3th @ Cypress Grill from 4-6 PM; Cypress Gill and you can also get your packet on Saturday morning Nov 5th. Friday night Cypress will be open for folks to have dinner & drinks, their menu may be normal or limited to certain food items and we will have STEPHEN HARRELL singing acoustic for our Pre-party kick off. The Lake Blackshear Resort offers our group discounted rooms .. It is an incredible weekend time for a great cause!!!!
