West Sixth Farm 10K Trail Run 10K Trail Race

Packet Pickup Info

Packet pickup will run from 10 AM to 8 PM at John's Run/Walk Shop in Chevy Chase on Friday, November 1st. We will also offer race-day pickup at the farm from 2 PM to 3 PM if you can't make it to the shop before Saturday. Picking up for family/friends is allowed and encouraged. 

Join us for the West Sixth Farm 10K Trail Run! The brainchild of EJ Adventures, the West Sixth Farm 10k returns for its fourth year under the management of John's Bluegrass Racing Company. Race proceeds benefit KYMBA (who has done tremendous work constructing the trails at the farm) and the Kentucky Resources Council. Kentucky Resources Council is an environmental non-profit that works to protect Kentucky's built and natural communities from pollution and environmental damage.

Race amenities include a beautiful 10k trail course, race shirt, finishers' beer to those of age, and finishers' award.

The race features approximately 6.2 miles of roughly 75% technical single-track trail and 25% double track trail with total elevation gain of 949 feet. This is a moderate/advanced trail race course. 

Aid stations:
The 10k will have 2 aid stations.
Aid stations will have normal aid station fare. This is water, coke, electrolytes, granola bars, gels, etc.

Although runners’ registration fee includes a West Sixth finishing beer, we ask that you still bring some cash with you to tip your bartenders.

There is a 3-Hour and 15-minute time limit and cutoff for this race.
