Anaheim/Santa Ana River Trail Turkey Trot Anaheim Turkey Trot 5K

To accommodate this size event on the paved River Trail : Rolling Start  7:55am to 8:05am for 5k/10k/ 8:06 1 mile start.  All 5k/10k Must cross the start mats by 8:05am.  Elite and fast runners plan to go off in the first wave at 7:55am. . A "COOL" warm up begins at 7:50am!  Course time starts when you step  under the START ARCH  and on the start mats.  Wear Bib on Front.  

EARLY PRE Packet Pick Up at NEW LOCATION:  GOLDEN ROAD BREWERY from 2 to 4 pm. Saturday, Nov 23, 2024
Golden Road:  2210 E. Orangewood Ave, Anaheim, Ca 92806  Get your parking passes at Packet pick up, or if getting your bib and shirt on race day,  pay online and take a picture of the pass and have on your phone on race day. 

 RACE DAY PACKET PICK UP also AVAILABLE:  Shirts and bibs available at registration booth on ramp to START/FINISH .
 Race day Registration begins at 7am. Walk up registration welcome. 

The COURSE is on Anaheim Santa River  paved, multi-purpose path. Start /Finish just south of Katella across from the Honda Center east of Jt Schmid's.

PARKING is available at Jt Schmid's Brewery lot adjacent to Transit Center.  Enter into the front parking off of Katella and  the gate arm raises.  Only 150 spaces at this lot.  Only carpool cars that have two are more in the vehicle are to park in this lot.  Need proof of an event parking pass. Info will be emailed. 

ANGEL's STADIUM BACKLOT PARKING: FASTER and EASIER access.  PARKING has been secured just for this race at the backlot of ANGEL's Stadium.  Enter in on DOUGLAS WAY off of KATELLA. Take a right at the light  at the corner of Jt Schmid's. Enter Angel's Stadium behind the Transit Center.  There is access entrances to the SANTA ANA RIVER TRAIL path at LOT B of the transit center. Park, then walk  or jog down to the race start in front of the transit center.  You can drop off and then park .  They are requesting that we give entrants parking passes to just have on dash or a photo on the phone when you enter. $6 for parking. ALSO, Street Tacos and Tamales will be served at the FINISH LINE as your refreshment.  Reserve them now.  Get a FOOD VOUCHER at registration or also purchase online  as an add on or via zelle [email protected] or venmo caren-Ware-1.  No cash purchases race day.

WADDLES the EVENT PENGUIN  dressed for Thanksgiving will be at the Start/Finish.

Get the BEST THEMED turkey shirt/beanie/or cute stuffed event Turkey.

CUSTOM cast TURKEY FINISHER MEDALs and a matching race bib for ALL. 

CHIP TIMED by ITZABOUTTIME.  Lots of age division awards. Check the results.  If you got 1, 2, or 3 next to your age division , you placed.

Go to the FINISH LINE food area and the awards tent and retrieve your award!!!  Top 3 overall trophies.  Male/female also.

You are RUNNING the PUBLIC PATH COURSE on SANTA ANA RIVERBED TRAIL beginning off of KATELLA. You are sharing the route with

open public, cyclists, runners, and walkers,  and pets. You are responsible for giving cyclists the right away. 

We will return to the Angel's Stadium in 2024, or to the Honda Center.  We are BACK to being that BIG of a celebration! Thanks for enjoying it THIS WAY for this  year. 

Finisher medals handed out as you FINISH.  Division Awards can be picked up beginning at 8:45am for the 5k and 9:15am for the 10K.
