NSB Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5k 5k

It's a THANKSGIVING DAY TRADITION!! New Smyrna Beach Thanksgiving Gobble Wobble 5K Run/Walk presented by the Flagler Avenue Business Association is open for 2024 registration.

Thursday, November 28th, 2024 at 9:00am.

Schedule of Events:

Wednesday: 4-6pm  Packet Pickup optional, at Flagler Ave Beach Approach. 

Thursday: 7 am Packet Pickup Open at tent

9:00 am 5K Run/Walk begins.

 

Course:

This is a BEACH run/walk in the sand.

The race will Start and Finish on the beach; in front of the Flagler Ave Boardwalk in New Smyrna Beach.

Entry Fees - 5K Run/Walk  
Present- Nov 27th by 1pm – $25.00 Online Registration Only 
At Race Start -  $30.00 Cash or scan the on-site QR code to register Online (NO Venmo or Paypal options)

Online Registration will close Wednesday, November 27th @ 1pm for a few hours and then reopens. All registrations taken After 1pm on Wed 11/27 will be $30 and those participants will need to pick up their items at the "Day of Event Registration" line. 

**Registration is non-refundable.

After Race Celebration at Flagler Tavern (Participants receive "Flagler Tavern Bucks" to use during the celebration)

Top Overall Male/Female, Top Masters Male/Female, and Top 3 Age Group Male/Female will be called up to stage at Flagler Tavern to be recognized, take photos, and receive additional "Flagler Tavern Bucks" to be used during celebration.

Race Timing/ Scoring:
The race will be professionally timed and scored.  Disposable, electronic chips will be attached to the bib number.  In order to get the best read possible, you need to wear your bib number unaltered on the front of your shirt pinned at all four corners. Do not have any clothing covering your bib number.

Results will be posted online concluding the event.

Where does the race take place?
This is a Beach Run/Walk in the sand. The race course begins on the beach near the boardwalk at the Flagler Avenue Beach Approach in New Smyrna Beach. 

When is Packet Pickup?
All packets (race bib number, event shirt, and finisher medal) can be picked up on Wednesday 4-6pm or Thursday 8 am. Please have your registration number (email confirmation) with you for easy pickup. 

Will there be results posted at the race?
Results will be posted at the race and on this website on the RESULTS tab.

Will there be a Finisher Medal?
YES, there is a finisher medal for this race! Registration includes an finisher medal, event shirt, chip-timed bib, free professional photographs, and a beautiful route along the beach.
