AI Overview

This event, the Ninja 1M, 5K, 10K, 15K, & Half Marathon at Ephram White Park, scheduled for December 14, 2024, in Bowling Green, KY, is part of a series (indicated by "RD1 5K" likely meaning "Race Day 1" for the 5K and potentially the start of a larger series). While specific historical details about this particular event's lineage aren't provided, the inclusion of multiple distances (1 Mile to Half Marathon) suggests a community-focused race designed to accommodate runners of all levels, from beginners to experienced athletes. Participants can expect a festive atmosphere as it's a December event, potentially with holiday-themed elements. The event is categorized as "Event Type: 6," which often denotes a road race or a trail run with mixed terrain, but typically not an ultra-marathon or obstacle course, despite the "Ninja" moniker. The race will take place at Ephram White Park, a known location in Bowling Green, KY. Runners should anticipate navigating the park's trails and possibly some paved paths, offering a blend of terrain. Given the December date, participants should be prepared for potentially cool to cold weather conditions, and the possibility of damp or muddy trails depending on the local climate leading up to the event. The "Ninja" aspect in the title might suggest some minor, fun challenges or a playful theme rather than a full-fledged obstacle course race, especially considering the standard running distances offered. Overall, it promises a scenic and accessible running experience within a natural park setting in Kentucky.
