WELCOME TO THE RUN WITH SANTA 5K RACE INFORMATION

Join the Seashore Striders for this Christmas traditional 5k.  Join the Striders at Cape Henlopen State Park on Sunday, December 15th at 10 am for a fun 5k .  Run or walk with the Striders and take part in the traditional 5k Run at beautiful Cape Henlopen.  Don't forget to wear your Santa Suit!    NEW THIS YEAR...A COSTUME CONTEST...Dress in your Holiday colors and have some fun...

 

NAME:  19th RUN WITH SANTA 5K at Cape Henlopen State Park

 

RACE TIME:  10 am start

 

RACE LOCATION:  The race will start at the main beach parking lot. We will gather at the north end of the parking lot… Race packet pick up and post Race will be at the Birdwatch pavilion located just beyond the north end of the parking lot… signs for the main beach bathhouse parking lot.

 

TO BENEFIT:  TOYS FOR TOTS...raising funds for T0YS4TOTS as the Striders purchase kids bikes in parnership with Apple Electric.   Over the past 11 years over $16,000 has been spent through the proceeds of the Seawitch/Great Pumpkin & Pumkin Pie events to make kids smile on Christmas morning!

  • $25 through December 8th..."Early Bird Registration" at midnight
  • $30 through December 14th..."Race Week" at 10 pm
  • $35 through December 15th..."Race Day" from 8-9:50 am

RACE COURSE: Beautiful course through Cape Henlopen State Park, through Ft. Miles & turning around behind the campground at the abandoned tower.

 

RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.
