The Next Event Date: 26th May 2026. Time 7.30 pm Entries will open in April/ May 2026 Thank you for all the runners who ran today, the 145th Hallam Chase. The weather was grey and the ground wet but the rain held off and everyone seemed happy at the end! 88 runners this year. Well done to Danum who cmae all the way from Doncaster to take part and it formed part of their club champs. The two leading men had a good head on the field but looked to have had a battle. Daniel Abbot (Steel City Striders) won the battle with James Hickson (Peak Fell and Trial Crew). They were closely followed by the first lady home Maddie Stewart (Peak Fell and Trial Crew). Derek Brailsford (Hallamshire) was our eldest runner and first to the halfway point at Stannington. With Rebecca Ward being our youngest runner and the first Hallamshire member back Ethan Austin-Davis was the first Danum runner back and their fastest runner on the night Nick Burns (Steel City Striders) won the Novice trophy, with Mark Jones (Seffield RC) the fastest man and Helen Roberts (Dark Peak) the fastest lady on the night.
