About this race
A Backyard Ultra isn’t your standard running event. It’s a form of endurance event invented by Gary “ Lazarus Lake ” Cantrell in which you see how far you can push yourself.… and we’ve brought it to North Yorkshire The concept is simple. Participants run a minimum of 4.167 miles on the hour, every hour, until there is one runner standing.
