Welcome to Heaton Harriers Athletics Club Heaton Harriers & AC are a running club based in High Heaton, Newcastle upon-Tyne. Founded in 1890, Heaton Harriers are one of the oldest running clubs in the North East of England. We meet for training sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7 pm and a Sunday morning social run at 9 am. With over 250 members of all ages and abilities, we welcome new members to join us to keep fit and active whilst competing locally and further afield regardless of ability. Join us for a few training sessions at no charge to see how friendly and welcoming we are. We are based at Longbenton Sports Ground in High Heaton. Longbenton Sports Ground is on Coach Lane, postcode NE12 8AD There is free parking, cycle racks, lockers and changing rooms available in the recently upgraded facilities. Some sessions do not always start at Longbenton Sports Ground so please check the training schedule for exact locations.
