Ducklington Dash

The event will take place on Wednesday 15th July 2026 at 7.30pm . The race is organised by Witney Roadrunners and kindly hosted by Ducklington Sports and Social club at Aston Road, Ducklington, Witney, OX29 7US . The route is part of the Oxfordshire race calendar and is fast and flat on a mixed terrain of road, track and grass. The course is an out & back along the Cross-and Down-Valley ways starting from the picture-perfect village of Ducklington, near Witney, in West Oxfordshire and will be chip-timed from a gun start, so this is an excellent opportunity to go for that personal best. The race is open to any competitor over the age of 18 on race day . There is no maximum age . The route will be fully marshalled . Race entry fees will be only 9 for affiliated runners or 11 for unaffiliated . Entry is online here and there is a 1 processing fee from the company providing this service. On order to keep the entry costs as low possible for you, there will be no memento or prizes (other than the best one of all glory of victory over your friends/club-mates), however we very much encourage you to stick around afterwards, have a drink in the bar and a chat with your fellow runners. Please note that the wearing of headphones is not allowed during the race, and you may be disqualified from the race if you are seen wearing any form of headphones. This is for your own safety so the marshals are able to warn you of potential hazards. The race will be licensed by UKA athletics . The licence will be available for inspection on race day. Due to the varied terrain and sharp turnaround point, we are sorry to say that the pushing of persons in any device is not permitted (including, but not limited to wheelchairs, buggies, pushchairs and strollers). This is also the case under UKA Rules of Competition. On arrival, please look out for the car park signs and follow the marshals instructions to the car park which is on-site at the Ducklington Sports Club playing fields (entry via Standlake Road). There is no entry via the school or the Aston Road entrance..
