About this race

The Hove Prom 10k, organized by Arena 80 AC, is a popular road race taking place on Sunday, October 18th, 2026, along the picturesque Hove seafront in East Sussex, UK. While specific historical details like inaugural year aren't provided, it's likely a well-established fixture in the local running calendar, drawing participants of all abilities. Runners can anticipate a friendly and supportive atmosphere, typical of events organized by local athletics clubs. The race is characterized by its flat and fast course, running along the promenades of Hove. Participants should expect a predominantly paved, out-and-back route with minimal elevation changes, making it an excellent opportunity for personal bests. The terrain will be urban seafront, meaning it's a road race with potential for sea breezes, which can be a welcome aid or a challenging headwind depending on the day. The iconic Hove Lawns and views of the English Channel are a consistent and notable feature, offering a scenic backdrop to the entire 10k distance.
