The 10K race route will take place within the following areas; Starting on Knavesmire Road, runners will head towards Bishopthorpe Road via Campleshon Road. Runners will then travel northbound along Bishopthorpe Road before turning right onto Clementhorpe Road. Runners will then head down Terry Avenue before coming back on themself at Skeldergate, before turning right on Bishopgate Street and right onto Price Lane and Nunnery Lane then through Micklegate arches. Travelling along Micklegate, followed by Priory Street and Fetter Lane, runners will then cross Tower Bridge before turning left onto Coney Street. Runners will leave Coney Street across St Helens Square, onto Blake Street then onto Duncombe Place towards York Minster. Participants will run past York Minster before taking the right onto Goodramgate. The route then takes runners through the City Centre via Church Street, Parliament Street, Coppergate before taking them onto the riverside via Cumberland Street. Runners will then travel along the river path of the River Ouse, through Tower Gardens, over Blue Bridge before crossing the river via Millennium Bridge. Participants will then complete a small loop of Rowntree Park before re-joining Bishopthorpe Road and travelling southbound. They will then complete an out and back on Bishopthorpe Road as well as Racecourse Road before finishing on Knavesmire Road where they started.
