Crediton Crunch 10K

The route, will begin with a lap of the perimeter of the School fields before making your way out of the main school entrance and turning left on to Stoneypark Lane. After 0.4km and passing the school fields, pass the top of the steps and continue on the path which turns left. After about 100m the path turns to the right and you descend a few steps then go through a gate, turning left to run along the top of the field. Immediately after going through the gate at the end of the second field turn left and take the footpath to the white cottage. Follow the path beside the cottage and alongside the school which brings you back toward the school main entrance where you will then turn right along a path between the houses. After 0.35km and passing a playground turn right into the public footpath and follow it past Lower Parks Farm until you come to a road which bears to the right towards Great Parks Farm. Follow this road through the farm until you will reach a bridge to take you over the Tarka Line and into the adjacent field where marshals will direct you before rejoining public footpath. Make a right turn with another right shortly afterwards to take you through the fields and along the River Yeo until you reach the hamlet of Salmonhutch. At this point you will turn left and along the road to Uton Barton where after about 0.45km a right turn will be taken at the junction. You will then continue along this country road for about 1.7km taking you over Folly Bridge before turning right back into public footpaths through the fields for 0.8km, passing Denbury and Beare Mill Farms and joining the farm lane for a short distance until it reaches the road. At this point you will turn right and after 0.15km you will turn left back on the public footpath to take on Breakheart hill. You will follow this path up the hill and after the first gate run along the top of the four fields to the gate, where you follow the path to the right, ascend the steps and keep on the path which takes you back to Stoneypark Lane. Here you will turn right, pass the top of the steps and after about 0.15km you will make a right turn through a gate into the school field and make your way to the finish line. The route will be signposted with direction arrows and distance markers will be provided in km
