Half Marathon Road Flat

About this race

The Vale of York Half Marathon, the fast, flat, PB-loving half marathon in aid of Sue Ryder will be back for its 12th year in 2026. And we've kept the flat-as-a-pancake 10K as part of the event. Both races start and finish just outside Wistow, and run on scenic closed roads south of York and north of Selby. For the novice runner the half is still the perfect introduction to a longer distance. For the more seasoned racer it remains a genuine PB opportunity. And for those training for an autumn marathon it fits perfectly into your training schedule.
